Creative Street production company is developing a range of video and multi-media programs for planned exhibits. In addition, they envision a series of ten half-hour videos suitable for television and subsequent distribution to schools as the centerpiece of larger learning modules about specific cultures.

The series, tentatively titled WORLDPLAY: SPECIAL DELIVERY, will feature two children from two different cultures per program. The premise will involve the exchange of toys between the children, using that platform for a "dialogue" which begins with the toys, but widens to include a larger view of the country and culture in which each lives. Produced on location around the world, WORLDPLAY: SPECIAL DELIVERY is slated to begin production in 1997 with a release schedule targeted for 1998.

Core footage from the television series will be used to supplement a CD-ROM project that will feature dozens of toys, plans to make them, cultural information on the countries they came from, and tools to help children continue to explore their own creative abilities. Creative Street
