The Book — Coming Soon…

The cornerstone of this entire project is a book. "Play Around The World." Full of colorful photographs and easy to follow directions, this coffee table size layout will allow anyone to create toys from around the world. You can build a scooter from Guyana or a wire push toy from Zimbabwe. Recycle a plastic bottle as an attitude doll from Aruba or use noodles to create shadow puppets from China. The book will also include maps and flags and interesting facts about each country represented. The art work in this book (maps, flags, reflections of customs) will be that drawn and contributed by children living and playing in each country. Geography and various cultures will come to life through the one thing kids love the most: THEIR PLAY!! Educational publications, such as lesson plans, will be also be available.
